I've been wondering about why we only choose one day to make resolutions when there are 365 days in a year (366 during leap year and 2016 is a leap year). For 6 days between Christmas and New Year's Eve, we come up with goals that we will accomplish in the upcoming year. The way it normally works is to start on the resolutions as soon as possible, which would normally be New Year's Day. Yeah, right.
Let's not wait until New Year's Eve. Any day of the year is a great day to begin accomplishing a goal! Regardless of what you'd like to do, write down the goal (begin with the end in mind), break it into doable steps and as you accomplish each step, celebrate the accomplishment. You earned it. You deserve it!
So, what will you do today? Don't wait until New Year's Day 2017. That's 355 days away. Today is a great day to begin accomplishing your goal!
